MasterWork?

The game that started it all (the 2003-2011 era) paired with E-Globals special touch.
From L2 fans to L2 fans. One server a year.

Relive Your Glory Days

We’ve hand-picked every moment that made the early L2 updates (C1 - HF) special and tied them all together. You’ll remember and relive them all: from the old crafting mechanics to farming attributes in SoA.

Play at Your Own Pace

The server will be MONITORED and updated every week. No rush, no hurry. We’ll also be releasing major updates every month. These updates will bring new locations, events, equipment, and levels. At the same time, the dynamic rates will make sure you can always catch up with the early birds no matter when you start.

Forge Your Own Path

With MasterWork’s staple well-rounded balance, your class will be more valuable than usual, including the party game. Sure, you don’t have to party up. But, in MMOs, the more the merrier. Still, you won’t have to have a constant party or belong to a top clan. Even a couple of hours a day will let you make a difference.

I stage IL

IL stage progress

What should I do at the first phase?

Lay the foundation for the journey to come: choose a class, craft D/C/B grade, get a subclass at level 52, participate in the Olympiad. Find partners in crime, farm the Kamaloka and Labyrinth instances, fight for the epics: Ant Queen, Orfen, Core, and Zaken. Siege castles. The update will have a soft 60-level cap: you’ll be able to grind past it, but it will be no easy task (the experience gain will be reduced significantly, but these hard-earned levels will also give you massive bonuses). Having said that, even the more casual players that spend 2 hours a day in the game tops will have an impact as well.

What should I do at the second phase?

Enjoy everything that the IL update has to offer. The same soft cap rules will apply here all the same (but at level 72 now). You’ll have a hard time leveling afterwards, but the Ketra/Varka Alliance and the Ice Crystal in HS quests will be available already. You will be able to get your hands on S grade, but it will be no picnic: so stock up on materials instead or get busy crafting A grade. After all, A grade will always be relevant: you can easily enchant it and, at the next phase, even attribute B-/A-grade equip. Max out the subclass and finish the Noblesse quest. The clans will be busy with Baium and Territory Wars. In time, we’ll add Frintezza, while Orfen and Core will be moved to instanced zones. The Kamael characters will be available a week before the GF update.

Key IL Mechanics

● Top D grade can be attributed;
● The non-grade equip from the Newbie Guide will be boosted;
● The shop won’t have common items, and the Luxor shop will be selling C grade;
● Free teleports and club buffs till level 40;
● A-grade crafting will be more expensive at the first phase;
● Life Stones have active and chance attack skills correspond to the current ones;
● The debuffs will have a minimum 5% and maximum 95% of chance to land;
● Core and Orfen will be reworked and turned into instanced dungeons at the second phase.

Important General Mechanics

● MasterWork has a balance of classes and skills. You can enjoy your profession at all stages of the game thanks to the redesign of skills.
● No more subclass level limit. You can take the skills from any class and they will work on the main and subclass alike;
● The items have been updated: set parameters, bonuses for enchanting set parts and weapons, rare items, methods of obtaining SA and LS-s in weapons, PvP inserts into items. Also shirts, raincoats, belts also rebuilt.
● Epics that will grow with the server and have the same respawn time in the evening;
● The available clan and academy slots will be increased. We’ve also added active clan skills. The clan skills will work for all clan members regardless of their squad including the academy members;
● Clan halls, castles, and fortresses will all provide full-fledged 60-minute long buffs;
● The improved pets only look differently. You can control easily the fighter/mystical buffs and HP/MP recharge;
● Up-to-date instances, dailies, achievements, and unique events.

II stage GF

GF stage progress

What should I do at the first phase?

This is the stage that the E-Global community loves the most - the unforgettable early-stage Gracia PvPs. The first phase will introduce the first skirmishes for attribute stones and the race towards the S/S80 grade. The Hellbound island will be semi-opened, so every worthwhile party will be living there rent-free. The Parnas island will be reworked, catering to solo players and small parties (5 men or less). You’ll be able to upgrade S-grade armor following the Dynasty blueprints. Meanwhile there are constant battles between solo players and mid clans in "Varka" and "Ketra". This phase is where it all starts: who gets their hands first on 78- and 83-level skills and balance-shaking items: the first CoV/PoWs/Prahnah, 150-attribute weapons from Ipos, and the first stun-maxed clan berserkers. Instances at Gracia will be limited to Twin Death Knights. The available epics will include Ant Queen, Earth Dragon, Frintezza, Baium. Zaken will be added in the second phase as an instanced dungeon. To replace him, this phase will include Beleth as a world epic.

What should I do at the second phase?

The second phase will have no limits. The entire Hellbound will be open, and the whole Gracia Continent will be available to anyone who’s brave enough. You’ll be able to farm S80 and S84 equip through the Tiat and Beleth raids alongside other groups. The 83-level cap will let you enchant skills to your heart’s content. At this phase Olympiad is available from level 76 as long as you have a 3rd class. The Noblesse quest will be made less troublesome: you’ll only need 50 TB badges. The Ant Queen will be turned into an instanced dungeon. As her replacement, we’ll introduce Valakas sometime down the line.

Key GF Mechanics

● Inspector will be available as a main class, with access to the Olympiad. Soul Breaker male and female claim to be heroes;
● The attribute system will follow the HF rules, increasing the PvP duration and ditching the “one shot - one kill” approach;
● Vesper can be worn from level 82, while S-grade armor can be ‘shoulder padded’ through Essences depending on the class;
● Tiat will be a weekly instance for 2-5 parties. Cleft and SoI stages will be removed;
● 2-hour SoD will be available after 10 Tiat deaths within one week. After 3 successfully opened SoDs, you’ll be able to exchange stones for crystals in Giran, Aden, and Rune.
● The shops will have C grade and common items, while the Luxor shop will sell B grade
● B and A-grade weapon and armor can be attributed (150/300 for weapon and 30/60 for armor)
● The newbies’ lives will be made easy: the initial server rates will be increased, you’ll have free teleport and club buffs till level 60 or 68. The clan academy will be extended to level 60 as well, with a hefty graduation reward that will include B-grade equipment and EXP consumables.

Important General Mechanics

● MasterWork has a balance of classes and skills. You can enjoy your profession at all stages of the game thanks to the redesign of skills.
● No more subclass level limit. You can take the skills from any class and they will work on the main and subclass alike;

III stage HF

HF stage progress

What should I do at the first phase?

The level 85 is up for grabs. You can add 3 different attributes to each armor type. Multiple reworked locations will make S-, S80-, and Vesper-grade equipment more accessible than ever. These locations will be introduced slowly and steadily throughout the server’s lifespan. Thanks to these locs, you’ll have no trouble farming the missing attributes and finishing the enchantment job (both skills and equip) that you’ve started at the previous stages. The biggest PvP hotspots will be DV and LoA (without Kariks). Complete the Legendary Tales (7 Raid Boss) quest and start grinding towards Vorpal armor. Frintezza and Freya (regular) will work as instanced dungeons that fall in line with HF mechanics and be available to parties. In time, we’ll add Blessed Freya as a world epic for clan events.

What should I do at the second phase?

The journey’s end. The MasterWork project’s final form. This is when (and where) you’ll reach the GoD cap. Start going crazy and overchanting each and every skill and equipment piece you want. The SoA at Gracia will become available, and so will the Steel Citadel on HB and the Karik spots in LoA. At this point, the farm race is pretty much over: all that’s left to do is enjoy evening PvP sessions, hang out with friends, and dominate the Olympiad where gimps can dunk on the otherwise OP classes. We’ll slow down the PvP pace, putting crowd control skills front and centre. The support players will be able to tip the scales like never before, making the role all the more important. So think about leveling up that support subclass. Exping will be a cakewalk at this phase, and MasterWork subclasses will have no limitations placed on them.

Key HF Mechanics

● The shops (including Luxor and Mammon shops) will work according to the HF rules;
● The quests, locations, drops, and spoil will work according to the same rules;
● The debuff mechanics will be untouched, mirroring the HF playbook;
● New characters will receive countless bonuses that will help propel them to level 75;
● Bless Freya now an openworld boss.

Important General Mechanics

● MasterWork has a balance of classes and skills. You can enjoy your profession at all stages of the game thanks to the redesign of skills.
● No more subclass level limit. You can take the skills from any class and they will work on the main and subclass alike;
