Since you can put attribute in B/A sets but only 30 points, people won't be able to counter your attribute damage with B/A sets unless they specifically put your type of attribute twice (for example they will add fire to helmet and boots, but then they will have 0 resistance to some other attribute, so usually people add all atributes with 30 points).

So if you are a Sorcerer that has a 150 attribute weapon with DC set full att and you're going against a Dagger with 150 att weapon and Majestic set full ATT.

Your attacks will have 160 fire damage (190-30) which is 40% bonus damage

While his attacks will have ~120 att damage (150-30) which is 20% bonus damage.

Я в курсе всей этой хуйни, про фс я писал, против пояса на абилы есть пояс на деф. Заточка+зарядка единственное, что добавит урона ощутимо, в сумме, как половина от атт, примерно. В целом, урон будет норм, но меньше того, что написано выше.

rushes on melee and att comparison are not correct things when you talk about whether people will play specific class or not

All phys classes got serious buffs on masterworks and mages .... in daily the strongest thing in mages is and always was - cancel. Here there are a lot of custom trigger skills and cancel works on them also take to attention that there is combo dance/songs. So cancel is nerfed.
Personally I don't think there will be less or more mages. You can swap party from gracia stage on kamaels but it is very hard to do a complete reroll from mage to phys party or vice verse.
Basically, sure there are classes that are better in aoe damage, but in the end all comes to execution. If you know how to boost wisely, if you know your class strength, press buttons good and have good assist, you will have your daily dose of fun 🙃
